This works as advertised, but what they don't bother to mention is that clicking proactically anywhere other than a specific button control will take you (or whomever's browsing your site) to the DiskDriver website and an ad for their commercial product.
I wouldn't mind if they were up front about it, but this seems kind of underhanded to me.

We check the model and found a stray link on the little circle in the middle of the control wheel, we removed that, you can download the update, it's FREE.Thursday, January 27 2005 @ 05:39 AM PST

First, to put it simply, you are wrong and should retract your statement. Like any piece of software, if you click on our logo, yes you will be directed to our site, a pretty obvious function. Second, yes, allowing you to use programming we have developed for free, is the trade off for allowing us to put a logo and link on the application. Apparently you don't think this is a fair trade off or standard practice, in which case you can start your complaining with Apple and Microsoft who make you pay for that feature. A lot of work was put into creating this webware and the fact that part of its’ technology is being distributed free should give you pause before writing such a negative review.Reply to This
