I would think that the exact opposite of this product would have more appeal to the Mac community, that is a program that turns .wmv to .mov (even mpeg or avi would be a step forward). Thanks but this has no use to me at present or anytime soon.

Corporate clients want wmv. They simply will not accept Quicktime on their servers. They don't want to be bothered downloading Quicktime player. Even on a personal note I know way too many folks with PCs and they don't even know, nor want to learn, nor want to mess with, downloading Quicktime player on their computers.Guess you travel in a very different world.

Agreed. What is needed is the reverse. Why would anyone on Mac pay $100 to convert to an inferior format (except for the reasons mentioned by CraigP). It's these crappy WMV files that need converting. They should have come out with the other version first!Wednesday, February 16 2005 @ 09:33 PM PST
