Here's why you don't need to ever download this software, let alone pay for it. Please take notes and refer to these 5 tips often. I will cover just the first 5 reasons, but someone else can fill in 6-10:

1. There are no Mac viruses.
2. There are no Mac viruses.
3. This one is extra important: there are no Mac viruses.
4. Many people don't know this, but there are no Mac viruses.
5. Last, but certainly not least: There. Are. No. Mac. Viruses.

Please. Stop downloading this. By doing so, you are depressing the rest of us into thinking that most of the world is not using their brain. Please. No more.

tsk tsk tugger - Toronto.mac

You're quite right tugger, Mac viruses have no effect on Mac OSX. However there are Unix viruses and other nasties out there which are quite capable of opening back doors, manipulating and destroying files, and rendering your happy-go-lucky Mac quite useless. You shouldn't drop your guard just yet.

Also, just because all those nasty viruses out there have yet to affect your Mac, you can unwittingly resend an email to a Windows computer, that HAS a virus attached. Unfortunately, we pay a price to help protect our friends Microsoft running computers...
