I bought this program in order to backup my iPod, as I am about to replace the battery and I thought backing up would be a good idea. My 20 gig, 3rd generation iPod has 1872 songs on it. iPod Access 3.2 locked up itself, iTunes, and my iPod at 122 songs, 245, 365, 1554, and 1635 and 1637. Each recover involved me rebooting my iPod and Force quiting both iTunes and iPod Access. I consider this a very scary process. If you are buying this program solely for backup purposes, you may want to think twice. I have not used the other features of this program, but from the other comments listed here at Version Tracker, it appears to be a solid piece of software.
