Very similar to a program called "Sudo", which has been around for a few years now.

You're missing the point. Anyone using Skeleton Key already knows about Sudo. Sudo is a shell command and is a core part of the OS. Skeleton Key is designed to provide the same funtionality to graphical apps, without using the shell. It doesn't replace Sudo, it extends it, and makes it easier to use with Aqua/Cocoa apps. When using shell applications, you don't use Skeleton Key, you use Sudo as normal. You need both.Reply to This
