this program hasnt been updated in over 2 years!!! no wonder so many other FTP programs have taken the lead (interarchy, transmit). what a joke fetch has become. it used to be the "must have" ftp program for mac, now i'm hoping transmit will offer a competitive upgrade price. there are many other features worth having that every other ftp program seems to offer such as transfer queueing and idisk support to name a couple. shame on you, fetch softworks.

I don't need to microwave my leftovers.... - Kirkus M.
... I need to transfer files. thehypercube says, "this program hasnt been updated in over 2 years..." and your point is what? I don't need added bells and whistles that have nothing to do with a program's original function. I believe these are too often added simply to get my $20 upgrade fee. Interarchy has become a joke... complete with an Address Book and automatic "mirroring". I'm not an idiot. I know what files need to be updated and when. I don't need my FTP program doing it automatically for me. Fetch is stable and always has been. Those of you who whine about a program not being stable might want to look at your computer or network for the "actual" problem instead of blaming a program. Fetch does what it's supposed to do and it does it well. It won't automatically vacuum my floor, but that's okay. I have a vacuum cleaner for that.Saturday, April 23 2005 @ 11:05 AM PDT
1 star? - old_father
Since when has the iDisk anything to do with ftp?Ok, I admit, I am longing for the long announced update on Fetch for a long time now, as I've scripted all my needs around it and would like to see sftp and ftp via ssl integrated in Fetch.
But still Fetch is my everyday ftp-workhorse and it's reliable and fast as for example Transmit is and Fetchsoftwork's support is fantastic.
Your review is not really fair:
"Support" should get 5 stars".
"Ease of use" should get 5 stars too.
"Features" ... I would rate them 4 stars, although compared to other clients maybe 3 stars would be ok.
"Quality/Stability" for me is 4-5 stars.
