Why would you need to use AHP if you had mpeg files?
Only someone who was a total NOOB would have known
that if you have the raw mpeg files, you would use ffmpegx
to demux back to streams, then, provided the audio was in spec,
just import directly into iMovie.

Were the mpegs actually within part of a VCD/SVCD?
Or did you MEAN to say VOB, as in part of a DVD?

Sounds like if you spent more time learning what YOU HAVE FIRST,
then you could have easily figured out how to get your end result.

That being said, AHP works wonderfully. If you need to CAPTURE audio
from DVDs, SVCDS, VCDS, it can capture and allow you to set the
bitrates and mode of encoding quite easy, it does take some brain power
to figure out what you want the end result to be, but once you have that
you can get there rather easily. It also records audio from streaming webcasts,
streaming radio, audio from crappy WMV, ASF and AVI files, and can
record audio from any app that plays sound on your mac. Nuff said!
