I got Skype to make overseas calls to family. I find Skype to telephone calls unusable. The delay is intolerable and unless you are using a special headset you have to shout into the microphone to be heard. I know my equipment and connection is fine as I use it with iChat all the time for video conferences. It also appears that you cant use the microphone on the iSight.
