I used it to download some old 80's hits to go along with the 10GB of ripped music I had from my own CDs. Sound quality is not as nice as the CDs, but I would assume that. This application works very well.

The sound quality is a function of the bit rate of the stream you selected. Some stations give you the option of different bit rate (28 kbps, 40 kbps, 128 kbps etc.).Reply to This
