this release may address some user-reported bugs, but it doesn't resolve any i've reported. half of the cover preference settings still do nothing to affect the cover's display. title positioning doesn't work. image scaling/tiling/stretching don't work. contextual menu performance is more hit-and-miss than ever. and the covers now display the .ntx suffix at the end of the title, whether 'hide suffix' is chosen or not. going back to the bugs i'd gotten used to.

going back to 1.8 - Greg Jones
I agree with Bill that the new cover features are great and all of them work for me. The "What's New" document that Bill mentions can be found under the Help menu of NoteTaker. I also have had no problems with the contextual menu in NoteTaker as it works like a charm for me. So far version 1.9 looks like a solid update to me and I would recommend working with it a little longer before reverting back to 1.8.x.Saturday, January 08 2005 @ 04:32 AM PST
Cover Title etc. - Lecture Man
You address cover title positioning through the Tools menu. You change the Title itself by clicking on it and editing the words.Any problems that you have encountered are explained in the Guide...or send an email to Tech support--I get responses in 10 min.

See the page about covers in "What's New." Cover title text can now be easily modified and formatted, even allowing multi-line titles. Now it's easy to put notebook revision dates, for example, on the cover.I've had no problems with contextual menu features, either in 1.8.x or in 1.9.
