Tried burning a VCD with application - resulting disk doesn't play. Tried burning using output file and toast - message: unsupported format. Tried SVCD - disk would not play. Needs a lot of work.

Hello,
Some file are just not supported, as they may contain unknown formats (such as wmv, rm,...). Of course, if the VCD encoding fails, the SVCD encoding will probably fail as well.
It would help a lot if you could give me some info about the file (video type, audio type and file extension).
