Backup Simplicity license has changed

Feedback Type:  Developer Note

Contributed by: Sunday, January 02 2005 @ 01:05 PM PST

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: YES

The license terms for Backup Simplicity were changed in April 2004. Licenses purchased after the release of Backup Simplicity 1.1.3 on April 4, 2004 allow the software to keep working for as long as the customer wishes.

Like licenses for our other products, new versions and technical support are available at no charge for a period of two years after the purchase of a license.

Licenses purchased before April 4, 2004 must be renewed before the new license terms apply.

Backup Simplicity license has changed - joat--mon

Glad to hear it. I guess I just had the bad luck to acquire the software when the wrong sort of licensing was in effect. Oh well. I've already cross-graded to a competitor but wish Qdea good luck in the future.
