Okay, right off, retinopathy and degenerative sight are not uncommon spin-offs of diabetes, right? You can't even resize the display window past a ridiculously small font size. The manual entry required of the archaic interface is not at all pleasant. Email support is nonexistent (17 weeks, still waiting...), telephone support has NEVER answered the line -- not so much as an answering machine. All of this for the CRAZY high price they charge? No way. when speaking with other diabetecs about disease tracking software, I consistently refer to my Health Engage purchase as my Stupid Man's Tax for 2004. I can go on and on, but why? Read all of the reviews here. See the pattern. Pay attention to that gut feeling that's telling you to stay away from purchasing the product. Smoke a couple of twenty-dollar bills if you still have an urge to waste money.

No diabetics on THAT development team! - HealthEngageSupport
We have advisory panels of leading doctors, nurses, and diabetics who review and sign of on every aspect of the software. We also have several employees who are diabetics and use the application on a daily basis, including one who uses it with her 18 month old daughter.Font size and display is controlled by the Displays control panel and Apple even has special software for visually impaired users.
E-mail support requests are replied to Monday-Friday within 48 hours with no exceptions. We have an automated support system that makes sure that this happens so perhaps this user had a typo in the e-mail address they sent a request to.
We offer a fully functional time limited demo of the application to try. We realize that some diabetics do not want to track all of their data and want to make sure people know exactly what they are getting before they buy. The application has dozens of features and is flexible enough to collect, chart, and produce reports on almost every aspect in a diabetics life.
It is obvious from the tone of the post that this individual has some issues that are outside of the features and functions of the application since he does not give any specific problems with it.
Anyone with any questions can e-mail me directly at dwilliams@healthengage.com but I assure you this post is not reflective of the software and ask you to try it yourself and see if it is the right tool for you.
