I've just "tried" the new build and... it crashed *immediately* on me (it quits with the classic "unexpected error" dialog...) This gives some credit to fotodivr's comment... Hopefully, with this silly developer's update plan, a new build will be available in the next two days; and the infernal spiral will go on and on...

Please consider your users' feedback with some attention! We deserve respect, don't we?I'm a senior software engineer, and an Apple developer for years; I deliver Mac OS X products with great success as a hobby too. My system is rock-solid, and crystal clear, thanks...
If you want some proof of my experience w/ your "software", and of your inability to handle the drawbacks of your insane update plan (-> many different formats to handle: read, write, migration, etc.), here's my "DVDTheque v2.4.9 - Crash Reporter Log":

If I'm telling you I'm a developer, you may consider that I *am* a developer... Presuming I'm not is presuming your users are liars! You really shouldn't consider them the way you do; or your products will be publicly slashed, whatever their quality! But that's not the topic here...FYI, before I post my review on VersionTracker, I tried to trashed my .plist preference file; and it plain crashed again! As I said, I am an Apple developer for years. That's also why I decided to post directly: to warn the users that they should avoid v2.4.9!
And I'll go on posting if the forthcoming releases are this bad. Please wait for some quality before releasing a new version; beta software doesn't give a good image of Apple :( !
