When you are done with Volumeworks, reboot your system using an OS 9.x CD. Run Drive Setup and select the option to update the drivers. Ignore the warning about the hard drive having newer drivers already installed and click continue (or OK; can't remember as I'm not in OS 9 right now). This will reinstall OS 9 drivers on all the partitions.
