If you shoot DV you need this product. The strength is three-fold: 1) Archival tool - it has an amazing tagging function making huge libraries easily searchable (wish iPhoto's was as good). 2) Digitizing tool - clip creation on the fly PLUS frame grabs at every 2-10 seconds creates a catalog that is very fast to navigate and review. Digitize raw or set up a wide variety of grab and compression schemes. 3) XML export and drag and drop ability into iMovie and FCP make this a tool I use every day. Developer is first rate and very interested in user feedback. No wonder its an award winner.
