Basically you have no serious problem because you have verified that the FW drive will boot your machine. There was just something you didn't do quite right. Go to http://forums.bombich.com and have a look at the Stickies in 'Troubleshooting' and 'General Tips'. If that doesn't solve the issue for you then post with details in 'Troubleshooting' and one of us will be delighted to guide you to success!

Thanks for your quick response. I don't have the time to do troubleshouting right now - I need something that works right away - but I'm going to go into this later.
