It is a bit confusing. This is the only way I could do it: Trashed my current version(6.0) then downloaded the 6.0.1 version from Adobe (it's the only one available on their site that I could find). Then installed 6.0.1 and updated it from within the appilcation with Adobe's software update under Help on the menu bar. That got me to 6.0.2. Then I downloaded 6.0.3 from here in VersionTracker. That's the only way I could update.
Or just wait for 7.0 which is coming out soon.

Confusing Update: Try This - Edwin-schemer
It is more than confusing. The people at Adobe are still living in an adobe hut (18-th century)! Update from 6.0.1 crashes constnatly. So the only way to go is trash all acrobat-readers (wnatever their current name is), and do as decribed in "Try this."The installer looks like in Mac OS 7 and takes forever to update!
And who need acroread anyway -- preview and he Schubert plugin are much better!
