Using this program is like taking a trip back to the early 90's. Its user interface is horrid by today's standards, and I don't just mean in terms of looks (although it is fairly ugly). Difficult to use - the layout tools are much more difficult than using something like OmniGraffle for example, many things are non-intuitive or can only be accomplished if done in a 'special' way - ie - other ways that seem like they should work don't.

We're using this tool for reporting purposes (connecting to another database), and that functionality is 'barely' there. It looses the mapping of fields from the external to the internal database *every* time you add a new field which is a real pain. Also, if you have the slightest syntax error in your SQL (a word spelled wrong, etc), it will hard crash immediately. Hard crashes (unexpected quits) often cause the file to become corrupted and as soon as you try to open a corrupted file, it crashes again. So I end up making a new copy of the file *every* time I make any changes just so I don't loose everything and have to start over from scratch (which has happened several times).

In short - this program sucks. They need to spend some serious effort bringing it up to date both in terms of the interface and in terms of robustness.

I wish there was a better solution out there, but this is the best I could find for now.

Not recommended - but use if you have to.
