Re: Quickeys 3 says it's not a valid key. I too bought the upgrade. The installer first ask for your NEW Activation Key (ver 3.0) and then to confirm (its an upgrade) it asks for your OLD Activation Key (ver 2.x). I had no problem with the Activation Keys.

Speaking of Activation one shortcut I really liked was: Computer> Start Screen Saver. Pretty cool to be able to Hot Key the screen saver, however this shortcut has been non-op (Broken) for some time now (since 10.3 Panther).

I sent an email to CE regarding this issue:

“Monday, October 27, 2003

There seems to be a problem with the Screen Saver shortcut. When Quickeys launches the Screen Saver it kills all keyboard shortcuts. The following is from the console log:                                            

2003-10-27 11:11:50.766 ScreenSaverEngine[978] argument '-psn_0_3145729' not understood

I can launch the Screen Saver using a hot corner with no ill affects.

Hope this might help you track down the bug! The Mac OS 10.3 is very cool and Quickeys is my number one system enhancement. Thanks for a job well done and bring us the 2.0.2 beta 3 just in the nick of time.

Is it my hardware configuation (G5_dual 2GHz with Macally’s IceKey keyboard)? Is anyone else having problems with this shortcut?
