The app updates only 6.0.2 --> 6.0.3 so you have to make sure you update to 6.0.2 before applying this update. In addition, 6.0.2 will not recognize, through the "auto-update" feature, that a 6.0.3 update is available; it must be installed manually. Finally, once the app is updated to either 6.0.2 or 6.0.3, the "About Acrobat" menu within the app correctly identified it as that version but the Finder's Get Info continues to identify the app as 6.0.1 – probably Adobe's fault for not updating the metadata.
I prefer using Apple's Preview, but Adobe's free Reader app does have some functions that Preview lacks, so it is a must-have. It's just not what it could be either in terms of functionality or support.
