Existing users, 
After downloading 116.4 at developers site I still have the same problem.
I have narrowed it down a bit more. Once I select a file and start downloading it, all of the files listed from that file shown down the list simply disapear from the list and things start going bad. This happens in any of the 5 or so download searches I tried.
I eventually had the search drawer vanish and the application wouldn't let me quit with the spinning beach ball of death. Had to force quit.

None of what you describe am I experiencing... I have tried to duplicate your problem and cannot in any way form or fashion. I have G3's 4's and a 5 all with OS 10.3.6 and all updates, nothing frivolous, no haxies, nothing... I'm not a big fan of Acquisition as you can see from time to time in my posts, but I am an Apple Systems Engineer, so naturally I am drawn. By the by if you haven't got an answer after posting this tirade 3x, there may be a subtle hint to glean from this.Reply to This
