iMOnTime slowness?

Feedback Type:  Troubleshooting Report

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

I've been evaluating iMOnTime for a couple of weeks now, and it seems to do exactly what I want -- but there is a problem. Whenever a program window comes up and I need to edit any of the fields, it's tremendously SLOW. I click on the field I want to edit (such as setting the snooze time to a particular length), and then I have to sit back and wait for a long time before the focus changes to that field -- sometimes more than a minute. Then when I type the change, it's another minute before the text changes on the screen. I have top running in a terminal window, and when this is occurring, it shows that iMOnTime is using as much as 85% of the CPU. So something is definitely wrong. (I'm on a G4 iMac with 1G RAM, by the way. OS X 10.3.6.) I would otherwise like to register the software, but I am very iffy about it considering this problem.

Tonight it took 8 minutes to delete an existing reminder (after attempting to edit it) and make a new one. I don't believe it was this slow when I first started to use the program -- it seems to have gotten worse. I don't have a lot of reminders currently set up -- maybe about 7 total with 2 appearing in a given day. So it's not that I am overloading the software.

Any comments about this? Anyone else seeing the same problem?
System Info:iMac G4 17\", 1 G RAM, OS X 10.3.6

This problem is being addressed and an update will be released soon. Meanwhile, the workaround is to quit iMOnTime and launch it again.
