I'm looking for a replacement for Quicken. Moneydance is close to being it, but unfortunately only because Quicken is so bad. I have only used Moneydance for a few minutes, but already the problems in the GUI are showing up. In the ledger views, for instance, feature so simple as selecting multiple rows is absent, so if I want to delete a bunch of rows at once I have to do them one at a time. So I have to click on a row and then click delete, and then click on another row, and back down to the bottom to click delete. I can't just click delete a bunch of times because the selection highlight goes away after each deletion, instead of highlighting the next row, like it should. This whole deleting business was only a problem because when importing my Quicken QIF file Moneydance messed it up and inserted a bunch of duplicate transactions. After all that hassle I decided it wasn't worth it to switch. So I'll keep looking for that elusive magical Quicken replacement.
