Why are they so friggin' defensive about their choice in apps? Why do they feel the need to prance around in forums for other products and talk about how great their choice is? Weird... In any event, the assertion that almost everything in OmniOutliner has been in Notebook for a year is a crack-induced fantasy. One word: columns (which OmniOutliner has had for years, I might add). And that's just the beginning.

Notebook has a loyal online community that can't help but hawk the product, and the history of NB/NT guarantees rivalry- I know, I've burbled about both on several occasions. The fact is that neither has innovated much in the last year and Omnioutliner 3 is a promising step ahead. That said, the lack of clones/aliases/replicants is a big disappointment and will keep me working in my program of choice: Devonthink.Reply to This
