Does forty-two allow you to extract scenes from DVDS and use them as a file recognizable by final cut pro??? Looking for a program that can do this. If anyone has info it would be greatly appreciated.

Does anybody know? - Bill Cerniuk

OpenShiiva does a great job. It pulls DVD video into MPEG-4 file format cleanly. The interface has some quirks.

This is what you look for - Ilgaz

Its exactly for such jobs. Just use lossless to prevent double compression.

Also that OpenShiva something zealot has been reported to VT AND OpenShiva developers.
