Had to go to developer's website to get the app, as the link from VersionTracker was broken.
It's a cool little app, interface is straightforward, but seems to me a valuable feature would be key assignments for the buttons, so for instance one could tap the spacebar to add one to the count, and assign any keys to the other buttons. Also could make the buttons large areas of the screen so you can easily click the appropriate button if in a hurried situation.
Nifty app, thanks

DL server problem and request - Mr. Pi
Hi!Thanks for the input - I implement your suggestions in the next version! On the subject of the server being down - apparently it goes down randomly, I think because the company it is hosted with (for free) is somewhat unreliable. I have heard other reports of issues regarding the server, and I wish i could fix them, but I have a situation:
I don't think that Bean Counter (and my other little applications) merit paying $15, and then $10 a month to host...which leaves me at a loss as to what to do in the way of hosting. I tried hosting it at my house for a while, but it was not very successful (if the power went out or the server crashed I wouldn't notice it was down for weeks at a time), so I went on a hunt for free hosting. So far sphosting (the current host) is the most reliable and efficient host that I could find. I have been through several hosts so far, and they all seem to have their problems (one site has every user page automatically download a .exe spyware program to the viewer's computer - yay.) So, we are at this point...where the hosting is good but not great. I apologize for any inconvenience the website may have caused you, but at least you got to see my site - oh, wait, the old webhosts ate it and I haven't made a new one! Well, anyway, have a good one and I hope you enjoy Bean Counter as much as I enjoyed making it!
-A.D.
