well,it totally screwed up my computer.I downloaded and tried it right away,it took about 6 hours to go through all my files, then I trashed whatever it had found, minus some system preferences I had to take out of the trash by myself.Well,my computer freaked and all my stuff was gone,I ended up having to erase everything on my computer and re-install my system software.I am just now,3 days later getting most of my stuff back onto my computer.Do NOT USE!

screwed my computer royally - nicuma

This program is my worst nightmare.

After having it scan everything for hours, it had to spoil my life(almost) by deleting everything single file which is important to me. I've lost all my work and assignments. EVERYTHING.

The only thing I can do now is re-install Mac OS X because since I've lost everything I might as well get a "new" Mac (or so to speak)

Do not use this software if you don't want to lose everything like I did.

Maybe you should be more careful.

I used this program in my music library after I had deleted some crap tunes through iTunes (which leaves an empty directory behind) and had no problems whatsoever.

The app is pretty clear, and you always need to be careful before you run some app on your entire hard drive.

Lesson learned, I hope.
