I have used Pastor since first appeared on VT, it's a great little app.

scifiguy -"recent files" would give easy access to files that contain sensitive info. Sure it would be more convenient, but much less secure in my opinion.

I keep my Pastor files in an obscure place so that they aren't easily associated with Pastor. With an option like “recent files” an unscrupulous person would only have to open Pastor (if it had the option) and there are the files to try open, or copy and take off your machine.

Maybe having this as an option in preferences to turn on a “recent files menu” as an option would be ok, but it should be off by default.

Also.
I have noticed that Pastor files have an icon that is a clue to what program will open the file.
Having this changed to something more generic would make Pastor even more secure.

Mac Num (Box O' Rox Soft.) I agree with you

Keep Pastor secure, and make it more, not less secure.
