Existing users, 
It says it removes the files, but they're still there in /library/application support/ and /library/startupItems/
maybe because another user installed the apps I'm removing?
using 10.3.6
DesInstaller
removes & archives the files installed by a .pkg file
Version: 3.0b3
doesn't remove the files on my system
