Default Folder is one of the best pieces of shareware, so why doesn't it get bolded and highlighted in blue on the VT lists?

Why not in Bold? - dacx

I may be mistaken, but I believe developers pay for that privilege; it is not a bestowed honor but rather simply paid advtertising.

I may be mistaken, too - rootpoot

I had always assumed that it was both an honor bestowed upon killer software and a paid option. Lots of Free/Open Source apps get the blue treatment, and I doubt they're laying down money for it.

As for this particular app not being bold, I assume it's because it's a beta. LaunchBar was the same way, none of the 4.0 betas were highlighted, but 4.0 was.

Yes, I do look at VersionTracker way too much :)
