If you oncorporate third party stuff in an app without sufficient testing, the app isn't mature.Friday, November 26 2004 @ 01:51 AM PST

The description clearly says that it applies someone else's widgets. If you have a problem with those widgets, talk to the creator. The "maturity" of Firefoxy is completely unrelated to the quality of the widgets it applies.
Instead of complaining, you could either fix the widget files yourself, or try someone else's widget set. Philippe Wittenbergh provides instructions on how to use his, as linked to on the Firefoxy info page. The problem you mentioned does not occur with his widgets, but I do not include his in Firefoxy because they require a custom userContent.css file.

Perhaps then, the Firefoxy documentation should make the status clear by saying 'this applies someone else's buggy widgets over which we have no control'.Thursday, December 30 2004 @ 01:01 PM PST

The widgets are described as "Kevin Gerich's fancy firefox widgets" every single time on every single page about Firefoxy.Saturday, January 01 2005 @ 12:26 PM PST

I know, however it should be described as "Kevin Gerich's fancy (though incomplete and malfunctioning firefox widgets"Friday, January 21 2005 @ 04:15 AM PST

Perhaps Lycos changed their site, but the radio buttons mentioned in the original comment show up fine for me with Kevin Gerich's widgets. If you'd like to point out any other problem pages, please be my guest. But the widgets seem just fine to me.Sunday, January 30 2005 @ 07:54 AM PST

This app applies the widgets made by Kevin Gerich. If you have a problem with the widgets, please direct your comments to him.Reply to This
