i've been trying to use my MacMice BT 2-button mouse for over a month, now... i've tried everything under the sun, and even had it packed up to ship back with and RMA... i saw this firmware updater today and decided to give it a try... NOW MY GORGEOUS 2-button bluetooth mouse from macmice is working!! i have hopes that i'll be keeping this mouse, now!

re: the "universality".. it just means that the dlink bluetooth module won't work on windows systems after its firmware is upgraded.. probably because windows drivers won't recognize it... the firmware upgrade actually FIXED the use of my MacMice (non-apple) mouse!
