Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

I decided not to upgrade when the mail issues surfaced (still have a v7.0.x install). Thankfully I had no damage.

I have to think though that the chances of sending a virus infected email out to anyone, mac or windows, is slim. When a virus message arrives there is not any doubt what it is. If you do happen to pass along games, flash and such from unknown sources then you may be able to infect a windows machine but I am not sure how with the thousands of virus attachments I have seen removed from my site with Postini. Nothing is hidden but the virus is spread when some windows user is duped into opening an unknown message with a subject that should be a tip off by now. Not to mention that the messages come from unknown senders. Just don't do it.

I probably should completely remove the virex to avoid any possibility of an issue
