This is a decent 1.x, but it needs work. First of all, I get the feeling the developers did all of the development on G5s and didn't bother trying it out on anything slower (G4s and G3s). If they did, then they should have made some adjustments to enhance the performance on older machines. This app is impracticably slow on my G4 500 (close to the performance I get out of GarageBand).

Secondly, they do a good job of presenting the information and retrieving the information, but the amount of information you are capable of storing is way too limited for anything but the most basic library. I would have thought a first version would contain at least the field types available in similar products already available (Books, Booxter, etc.). For me, Library of Congress info is a must not to mention custom fields.

I really wanted this app to be great. I love Omni products, and I've been wanting an app to keep track of all of my media. However, Delicious Library isn't there yet. For now, I'll have to stick with Booxter. Maybe 1.5 or 2.0 will resolve the outstanding issues.

Decent but Limited, Slow - Slinkie

Actually, I believe that they did most of the development on G4s. Powerbook G4s to be precise.
