I tried a huge number of other CD and DVD cataloguing apps and even paid and registered for one of them. But none of them were as consistently impressive as Library. There are areas for improvement, but the overall usability and utility of Library is way way better than any of the other apps I tried.

For someone with a serious collection, the effect of being able to enter an entire shelf of CDs by simply spending five minutes holding them up in front of my iSight one by one is intoxicating.

The interface shows attention to detail and the simplicity and usability is reminiscent of Apple's iApps.

As with all apps, this may not be an app that meets your individual needs or preferences, but it is without a doubt a very fine piece of software. Highly recommended.
