I have four (4) hard drives in my PowerMac G4. It found one with a failing SMART drive status immediately. I confirmed it with Apple's Disk Utility. Then unmounted and removed the drive, after getting all desired data off. Great little application. I plan on using it on a couple of iMacs that I have and are using for little servers.
