uDevGames is a contest where developers and want-to-be developers create and release freeware games. There are not always going to be professionals.

Perhaps the reviews should offer constructive criticism rather than all out negative commentary. It would greatly help up-and-coming dev's to understand what people look for in a game, or specifically where their program fell short.
