Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

Delicious Library's UI is good for a toy but doesn't scale well for larger collections (more than 10 books...) And its wooden background seems to be specifically designed for the rural parts of some countries where the requirement to have less than 10 books is automatically met :-). After 5 minutes of work you want to switch to the cool professional mode (but I haven't found the switch yet; hope version 1.1 provides one). Delicious Library appears like an expensive frontend to Amazon. If your item isn't available at Amazon, Delicious Library won't find it. If you are mostly interested in books try Booxter, it's much better in this respect. In addition, Delicious Library is of limited value outside the US because it's pretty agnostic about non-US character sets, currencies, CDs, and DVDs. However, iSight scanning works well.

You're kidding, right? I have a collection of 1600+ DVDs, several hundred books and CDs, and Delicious Library works really well for this huge collection. If you don't like the bookshelf view, you can always click on the data view on the top left of the bookshelf UI.
