I followed the link to downlaod and install the software from Version Tracker. In addition to a DVD player, four unique installations for spyware and adware were made without informing me. Each had to be separately uninstalled, and you had to be connected to the Internet to remove them! Moreover, the uninstalls were all conveniently worded in the negative such that many users would fail to uninstall the software. Even after installing all of the components and the main component (which I never even got to try out!), both Spybot and Adaware found pieces of the spyware still installed and/or running. During the uninstallation, you lose network settings and connection, probably because the authors figured if you learn that the software is bad, you deserve to have havoc unleashed on your computer for doing it.
