Apple Discussion threads G4 to G5 file transfer suggest some iMac factory Builds have deficiencies concerning the above issues, especially for the 20" model.

I expected this build might offer fixes. The accompanying editorial makes no mention of corrections for these problems.

That is going to involve a Firmware updater... and it better come soon. Apple discussion boards are now LOADED with fan noise, revving issues. OY VEY!
