SuperDuper may be doing a great number of things. I would be happy, however, if it did one thing well: a 1:1 clone. After spending hours trying to make a bootable clone, going over the resulting copy with Disk Uitility and Disk Warrior, the clone still freezes. I'd love to give the clown the boot, a bootable clown?

He can be forgiven for not being satisfied after having paid for something that (he thought) didn't work. And he can almost (but only almost) be forgiven for not asking for tech support, because all of us are unfortunately getting so accustomed to frustrating, non-helpful tech support nowadays that we sometimes give up trying.

How was he to know that SuperDuper! really takes support seriously? I haven't experienced their kind of service since my Apple //c, in the 1980's, when it seemed that users and developers felt we were all in this game together, and everybody (everybody except Apple, that is) was bending over backwards to lend a helping hand. He could never have known that ... unless he tried. You can lead a horse to water ...
