help have big problems... i chosed singel user in startup and i cant get in to my computer an it is only alot of terminal *censored* how do i get it to normal forgive my bad english

I've had the same problem, solved it - DAVEW129

The way out of that dilema is to use an old OS 9 trick. I learned this from the apple techs that I paid too much for their help. After going through three level of tech support I was told to reset the PRAM. If you have used system 9 you will know that you hold down 4 different keys all at the same time as the computer is starting up. You continue to press the keys until you have heard the startup sound (bong) 3 times.
If I remember correctly the four keys are "open apple, option, P, and R.
