Plain and simple: mlMac, a GUI to mlDonkey, gets you all the files you ever need, period. It finds you files that Poisoned or Kazaa can't.
If you upgraded from mlMac 0.7.2, chances are you are now looking at a seemingly blank window with nameless files. Do not panic. Your downloads are all right. Just go "Open Web Interface...", or type "localhost:4080" in your web browser, and you'll see that the filenames are there. This could be a problem with mlMac 0.7.5. What I ended up doing is move my Temp folder out of mlMac folder (the one inside Application Support), delete my mlMac folder, restart mlMac, replace the Temp folder with the one I saved, and do a recover_temp. Slightly annoying, perhaps, but still a lot better than going over to Poisoned (Kazaa).
