I'n not saying this thing was responsible but I have my suspicions that it was. When I restarted I got a TSMProcessRawKeyEvent failed (-192). Basicaly my keyboard wouldn't work so I couldn't even log back in. Easy to fix if you get into trouble. Just reinsatll OSX doing an archive and install, preserving network settings. Then just delete the previous system folder when done. It's a pain in the ass but fixable. I may have deleted soething I shouldn't have. My fault for just ignoring the read me file I guess.
Let's be careful out there.

I had a problem.... - davert
Mr. Whippy's problem was probably the same one I had - accidentally deleting the standard keyboard drivers. However the system worked well enough for me to recover them from a backup (slipping them in from a different system would've also worked). Gotta not do dumb things when we're using power tools! (No offense Mr Whippy since I did the EXACT SAME THING.)Reply to This
