Free Backup says:
"I do this once a month and not one problem has showen up.
This way I don't miss a thing by forgetting to back something up or putting my trust in others."
-------
So you don't mind losing 29 days of work? I don't want to lose one day so while your approach is valid it does not reflect the ease of using a product like this to do daily or hourly incremental backups that can sychronize two locations. You say you don't "want to put your trust in others". Apple is not YOU so you are just trusting one developer over another. That is ok, but your logic is flawed.
One must decide how much data loss is acceptable and then decide on a solution. Products like this, that offer such a feature set are much more convenient to run daily and work 99% reliably from my experience. If you have a specific problem with this product, document it and report it to Prosoft. I do that with most software I wish to use.
