Used to be called stealing...

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

Select file in the menu bar, scroll down to print, save as PDF
wrap it up in cocoa = $80 thank you very much!

I like 'argy_1's' comment about who do you want to sell to -
the students or the lecturer. DEVONthink PE at $40 would
probably do what this does and more and for those who really
need the extra bang could even try the Pro version on imminent arrival
priced at around $75 - which does a little bit more than 'save/steal' a few
web pages. $25-30 seems like the right price but try telling the brits
to stop over charging mac users is always an uphill challenge.

Webstractor does what it says on the box but for the price tag, it
seems a very expensive one trick pony.

Lex, You were a crap villain and you're an even worse critic.
This isn't a forum for plugging other people's software.
And before making ill informed comments like your pal, 'argy_1', check out the developers site for the special deals. That's what I did...
As the Chinese say...'If you haven't got anything worthwhile to say, go for a walk'

You must be a big fan of Softchaos - 7 out of ten reviews
you have written give the maximum five stars to softchoas
products. Fan as we all know is an abbreviation of fanatic.

IMHO, if there is an equal or better product available that you
know of, you should mention it. I live in a democracy and
believe monopolies to be wrong.

The price for Webstractor is 49 english pounds which is
$90 ( wed11Oct 2004) not $79 - Resellers and software
developers in the UK always overcharge mac users ...
You as one have been Balbooze'd !

Lex,

1.) Whether or not you live in a democracy is debatable.
2.) if your government didn't wage so many wars and borrow so much money then the $ would be stronger and Softchaos software would be more affordable.
3.)Yes, I am a fan of Softchaos. I think their software's well designed, smart and stable.
4.) Your paragraph below is hardly what I'd describe as objective. If you took the time learn how to use Webstractor, you'd know it does a lot more than 'save/steal a few web pages.'

DEVONthink PE at $40 wouldprobably do what this does and more and for those who really need the extra bang could even try the Pro version on imminent arrival priced at around $75 - which does a little bit more than 'save/steal' a few

Be well and Merry Christmas
