The auto update feature of Office worked very well. The actual update window was an archaic installer-vise, but the job was done without any hitches. I haven't really noticed any major speed improvement, as it was pretty snappy already. Kudos to MacBU for finally suppressing the bouncing Entourage icon when a server error has occurred. That's what I am most happy about.
