Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: YES

After all these years, FileMaker Pro is STILL the ONLY application on our entire network that does NOT support the scroll wheel. Everybody, please speak up by letting FileMaker Pro that you want scroll wheel support by writing them here:
http://filemaker.com/company/product_feature_request.html
Maybe if enough of us write to FileMaker, they'll finally fix this atrocity of a problem by 2010??

No scroll wheel support - rickoberndorf

I sent in my suggestion as I hope lots of others do. Thanks for the URL.

This would seem like the perfect opportunity for a shareware hack. I'd pay $5 or $10 for it. Anyone?????

No scroll wheel support - mmm52

Marc Moini (http://www.marcmoini.com/) has a hack called smart scroll x. I had emailed him 2 months ago asking if he could create a hack to enable filemaker pro scrolling as his smart scroll x did allow live scrolling but not with wheel scrolling.
He said he would work on it but he hasn't produced anything yet. Perhaps if people here could email him in droves asking for that hack then her would see that there is a need from not just myself in this area. I have been using FM pro since it was version 2 and the lack of wheel scrolling is such an annoyance.

So maybe people could email him ( marc@a9ff.com ) and he could come up with a hack to make this a go.

the sooner the better because I have no faith in the filemaker people themselves that they will do anything to change this.
