I think it's a tat slower than DVD Backup but you don't have to start the disk in DVD Player so it's probably a tossup. BUT since you can do a lot of trimming at this stage you often don't need any other app to shrink the film to a burnable size and that is a big time saver. The only minor hitch is related to the power and that is there can be a lot of options to check, but the complexity is optional and part of the power - so I took one star off ease of use, should really have been 1/2 a star off but that isn't an option.
